Bourbon Milkshake

Ingredients
  • Vanilla ice cream — 1½ to 2 cups
  • Bourbon — 1 to 4 oz
  • Milk — ½ cup
  • Optional add-ins: chocolate syrup, caramel, or maple syrup

Directions
  1. Chill the glasses in the freezer for about 30 minutes.

  2. Blend: Add ice cream, bourbon, milk, and any optional add-ins to a blender; blend until smooth.

  3. Serve: Pour into chilled glasses. Top with whipped cream or a drizzle of syrup if desired.

Variations
  • Maple Bourbon Milkshake: Add maple syrup.

  • Salted Caramel Bourbon Milkshake: Add caramel sauce + a pinch of salt.

  • Chocolate Bourbon Milkshake: Add chocolate syrup.

Hot Honey Bourbon

Ingredients
  • Bourbon — 2 oz
  • Honey — 1 tsp
  • Hot water — 1 tsp
  • Angostura bitters — 4 dashes
  • Angostura orange bitters — 4 dashes
  • Orange peel — 1

Directions
  1. Stir hot water and honey in a mixing glass until the honey dissolves.

  2. Add bourbon and both bitters; stir 30–40 seconds.

  3. Fill the mixing glass about  with ice, stir again, then strain over fresh ice.

  4. Twist the orange peel over the drink to express the oils, rub the peel on the rim, and drop it in. Enjoy!

Hot Buttered Bourbon

Served hot—soft, silky, and perfect for winter.
Ingredients
  • Apple cider — 1 cup
  • Unsalted butter, softened — 2 Tbsp
  • Honey (wildflower) or brown sugar (light or dark) — 1 Tbsp
  • Ground ginger — ¼ tsp
  • Bourbon — 4 oz
Directions
  1. Simmer the apple cider gently.

  2. While it heats, mix butter, honey/brown sugar, and ground ginger.

  3. Whisk the butter mixture into the hot cider until combined.

  4. Remove from heat, stir in bourbon, and serve hot. (If chilled, the butter will solidify.)

Hot Honey Old Fashioned

Ingredients
  • Bourbon — 2 oz
  • Honey syrup — ½ oz (see below)
  • Water (room temperature) — ½ oz
  • Angostura bitters — 4 dashes
  • Angostura orange bitters — 4 dashes
  • Orange peel — 1
  • Luxardo cherry — 1
Hot Honey Syrup
  • Combine equal parts hot honey and hot water (e.g., ½ cup + ½ cup).

  • Stir until dissolved; cool. Store in a sealed jar in the fridge.

Directions
  1. In a mixing glass, add bourbon, honey syrup, Angostura, and orange bitters.

  2. Add a large ice cube; stir ~15 seconds to chill and lightly dilute.

  3. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.

  4. Express orange oils over the drink, rub the peel on the rim, and drop it in. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry.

Bourbon Mudslide

Ingredients
  • Bourbon — 2 oz
  • Coffee liqueur (Kahlúa) — 1 oz
  • Irish cream (Baileys) — 1 oz
  • Heavy cream — 2 oz
  • Ice — to fill shaker
  • Chocolate syrup — 1 oz
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Directions
  1. Fill a shaker with ice. Add bourbon, coffee liqueur, Irish cream, and heavy cream; shake well.

  2. Drizzle chocolate syrup inside a chilled glass.

  3. Strain the cocktail into the glass.

  4. Top with whipped cream, if desired.

Bourbon Wacker

Ingredients
  • Bourbon — 2 oz
  • Coffee liqueur (Kahlúa) — 1 oz
  • Dark crème de cacao — 1 oz
  • Milk — 2 oz
  • Cream of coconut (Coco López) — 1 oz
  • Ice — 1 cup
  • Freshly grated nutmeg — for garnish
Directions
  1. Add bourbon, coffee liqueur, dark crème de cacao, milk, cream of coconut, and ice to a blender; blend until frothy.

  2. Pour into a chilled glass.

  3. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.

Mulled Bourbon

Ingredients
  • 1st Winter Bourbon — ½ cup
  • Apple cider — ½ gallon
  • Granny Smith apple — diced
  • Whole orange peel — cut into pieces
  • Florida wildflower honey — just under ¼ cup
Directions
  1. Pour cider into a large pot over medium-high heat.

  2. Add diced apple and orange peel.

  3. Add honey; stir to dissolve.

  4. Bring to a low boil, then reduce to low and simmer 45–60 minutes.

  5. Add bourbon and simmer 10–15 minutes more.

  6. Ladle into mugs and serve warm.
