Our Story

Firesides Distillery is a veteran-owned, small-batch operation on Florida’s Emerald Coast. We live by a simple rule: quality over quantity. Every kernel of grain we mill is grown right here in Florida, and every drop is cut with pure Florida water—earning us the Florida Fresh certification. From blending and bottling to corking, labeling, and boxing, at least one of our founders has a hand on every bottle that leaves the rickhouse.

Why We Built Our Own Bourbon

As former special-operations aviators, we remember the Friday-afternoon “fini” meetings—aircrews gathering to swap combat stories, trade hard-won lessons, and raise a glass. Over time, that tradition faded. Firesides Distillery was born to bring it back. Our aviation-inspired bourbon gives pilots, gunners, and ground crews a reason to circle up again, share their experiences, and mentor the next generation. Because the best learning—and the best friendships—still happen around a shared bottle and a crackling fire.
